Kenadon Homestead Cabins are suitable for couples or a whole family looking for a Daintree escape.

Each cabin offers comfortable accommodation and is fully self-contained. Your cabin is also equipped with air-conditioning, double bed and triple bunks, cooking facilities, colour television and verandah from which you might like to enjoy your continental breakfast which is included with our compliments. Each cabin boasts a breathtaking view of what Daintree is; an untouched wilderness destination.

Close by your cabin you will find our saltwater pool which lies in the natural contours of the land and is enhanced by rocks and a waterfall.

On the property you will find that our lawns and tropical gardens are well maintained and include a large variety of tropical plants, flowers and orchids.

A leisurely B.B.Q. is a perfect way to end the day in our outdoor dining gazebo after perhaps spotting a saltwater crocodile on one of the river boats which cruise their habitat.

Exchange your vows in our gazebo nestled in the manicured tropical gardens. With a celebration of your marriage under a magical fairy lit marquee. Be romanced by the country atmoshere.

Choose the setting for your photographic memories. Wheher you prefer our garden, by the pool, or the banks of the Daintree River. Perhaps you may like to choose a rural scene beside the cattle yards or just the perfect surrounds of green pastures.

The location makes all the difference for your special day.

Shiatsu

Shiatsu is available during your stay. Peter, one of your hosts, is a Certified Shiatsu Practitioner and offers this service to guests staying at Kenadon.

Shiatsu is a Japanese massage technique that literally translate into "finger pressure". It incorporates a rhythmic series of pressure with stretching, thereby supporting the muscles and body by using the fingers, hands, wrists, elbows, knees and feet on the right points, to induce the muscles to relax, allowing the chi (energy) to flow and promoting the bodies own recuperative abilities.

Rather than using a massage table, a full Shiatsu treatment is usually carried out on a cotton futon on the floor and the client is dressed in loose comfortable clothing.

The session is for two hours, during which there is consultation before and after your treatment.
